Appeal Taken in Ohio Case

Domina Law Group pc's clients filed documents appealing a Bankruptcy Judge's decision to cut out their judgments for intentional wrongful conduct, and approve a bankruptcy plan that will raise business costs for coop members while paying judgment creditors virtually nothing.

James F. Cann, who aggressively tried the case for Domina Law Group pc llo's clients, said, "We have filed papers to ask the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit to review the Bankruptcy Court's decision. It seems highly irregular a bankruptcy plan was approved at a time when our clients made clear to the Court our plan to file a competing plan that would have paid more funds to creditors, cost coop patrons less money, and provided a more successful fresh management team for the company."

The Bankruptcy Court, after hearing two days of evidence from James Cann, approved United Producers, Inc.'s reorganization plan and rejected claims the Plan was inappropriate to creditors.
