Hergert Convicted

"The Legislature had two objectives," said Attorney David Domina in a WOWT News report. "Number one, remove this man from constitutional office. Number two, establish that election fraud will not be tolerated. They won on both points."

Mr. Domina is referring here to the Nebraska Supreme Court's decision to convict David Hergert of election fraud which immediately removed him from his position as University of Nebraska Regent. Not long ago, Mr. Domina, the lawyer chosen to represent the Nebraska state legislature, successfully moved to impeach Hergert. This conviction serves as reinforcement for that impeachment.

Hergert was facing ten counts of election fraud and was convicted on two, specifically, false reporting and obstructing government operations.
