Domina Law Files Lawsuit Against NAPAfire for Burn Injuries

NAPAfire and NAPA Home & Gardens “fire pots” are identified as culprits in a seven-plaintiff lawsuit filed in District Court, Douglas County, Nebraska, on July 8, 2011. Domina Law Group pc llo filed the action against the manufacturers and labeler of the recalled fuel, its related fire pot, and the labeler.

The complaint alleges that serious burns were incurred by three victims when the product abruptly explored during the refueling process. Bystanders, including young children, were shocked by the horror of the fire. They are also named as plaintiffs.

“The pourable gel product is involved in a nationwide withdrawal from the market, and an investigation by the Consumer Product Safety Council is in progress. The defendants we were forced to sue did recognize the dangers of their product and withdrew them from the market, but must deal with the aftermath of the tremendous injuries inflicted,” Dave Domina said.
