Complex Accounting Malpractice Claim Filed

DOMINA LAW Group pc llo’s clients, a husband, wife and their closely held companies, filed suit in state court against a Nebraska accountant and accounting firm, alleging negligence and other matters.

The complex lawsuit has its genesis in the accountant’s business dealings, and the clients’ invitation, and decision, to invest in the venture with the accountant. The accountant’s firm, not an investor in the venture, knew of the circumstances, and the firm provided extensive data and support associated with matters arising out of the transactions and relationships.

The complaint raises many issues. “We expect complicated proceedings, extensive discovery, and a significant trial,” Dave Domina said.
