       Be Alert! Criminal Tax Fraud is the IRS Focus for 2010
     
     

    The IRS is focused sharply on tax fraud. It is making a concerted effort to flush out tax frauds and to collect unpaid taxes.  This is serious business. Now is not the time to take shortcuts with taxes. Now is the time to amend returns, no matter how painful, and pay what should have been paid, and fix what was reported incorrectly, before the IRS grabs the initiative.  The Service has identified tax fraud, including aggressive criminal prosecution of it, as its initiative for 2010.  The Internal Revenue Service has a law enforcement arm of sworn IRS Criminal Investigation Agents. These Agents have investigation and arrest powers, and carry firearms, like the FBI! | Full Story
