Native Americans Will Not Be Marginalized

Today, the federal Judge responsible for the National Opioids Prescription Litigation in Ohio ordered that Tribal Governments will have a separate track in their own case in the proceedings.

The efforts to secure this separate track were first started when attorney David Domina, a member of the Opioids Justice Team leadership stood up, stepped forward, and spoke out on behalf of Native Americans and their Tribes by declaring in a brief, forceful statement in Court that Native Americans will not be marginalized in this proceeding.

Domina backed up these words with a written submission (PDF). The Court created the separate track in order issued June 4 (PDF).
