Dave Domina Represents Omaha Official Fred Conley in Proposed Contract Ban Case

|

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is considering pursuing a debarment of Omaha elected official Fred Conley for alleged conflicts of interest while he was a member of the Omaha Housing Authority (OHA) Board of Commissioners. The debarment would have to be approved by an administrative law judge with HUD before becoming official.

The proposed ban would force Conley to cease participation in federal contracts. This would present problems for Conley, as he currently sits on the board of two government entities: the Metropolitan Community College board and the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District board.

Attorney Dave Domina is representing Conley against these allegations. Domina and Conley will appear before a HUD judge tomorrow in Washington D.C. Domina expressed his confidence in Conley's case and said that they will "probably prevail."
