Amelia V. Prickett
Amelia V. Prickett has a passion for the law and took a motivated approach to a legal career early on. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at an accelerated pace from the University of Nebraska – Omaha, majoring in Political Science along with an emphasis in Business Administration. During her time at UNO she worked for Hon. Joseph F. Bataillon in the United States District Court and participated in various honors societies and programs.
She continued to the University of Nebraska College of Law to earn a Juris Doctor. She focused her class work in areas of women's reproductive health, business, and real estate. During law school, Ms. Prickett was a law clerk with Domina Law, during which she played an integral role in several different practice areas. Some of which included: landowner rights, wrongful death suits, and condemnation proceedings. Gaining practical experience while being mentored by some of the best trial lawyers in the country at Domina Law Group has prepared her to handle complex legal issues.
Before joining Domina Law Group, Amelia gained practical experience by clerking for the American Civil Liberties Union in Lincoln, Nebraska. While at the ACLU she enjoyed working on legislation to advance the rights of women in the Nebraska healthcare system. She also spent time as a research assistant for Professor Anthony Schutz at the College of Law, working on agricultural law publications and local government research.
Ms. Prickett is a member of the Nebraska and Iowa State Bar Associations as well as the Nebraska Women's Bar Association, Omaha Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
