Domina Law Group pc llo Wins $400,000 Judgment for Nebraska Ag Lender

When a borrower breached a loan agreement with Domina Law Group pc llo’s client, and left the client with an uncollected debt in excess of $400,000, Domina Law Group pc llo filed suit to get the client’s money back.

While suit was pending, Domina Law Group pc llo uncovered fraud in the borrower’s financial statements and inventory reports. Based on these discoveries, Domina Law Group pc llo requested Judgment against the borrower for breach of contract and for fraudulent misrepresentation.

The Court found “the defendants materially misrepresented their financial condition and cattle inventory to plaintiff and . . . Plaintiff suffered a loss as a result of their reasonable reliance on the fraudulent statements made by defendants.” Based on these findings, the Court rendered summary judgment for $442,380.97, every cent requested, plus interest, in favor of Domina Law Group pc llo’s client.
