Domina Law Group represented a Lincoln doctor and his wife in their lawsuit against David Ellingson and Dana F. Cole & Co. Allegedly, the accounting firm misled the couple by giving them bad tax advice, ultimately leading to significant financial losses.
According to Nebraska Lawyer David Domina, "[They] have been devastated financially. They lost all or substantially all their net worth."
The lawsuit alleged that for at least five years the couple had been entrusting their finances to Mr. Ellingson a CPA at Dana F. Cole & Co. It also alleged that Mr. Ellingson misled the couple to believe they had certain assets that they actually did not have. Attorney David Domina stated that the defendant in this case was negligent and even willfully harmful at times.
