Mondelli v. Kendel Homes Corp.

With regard to the Mondellis' appeal, we conclude that the district court abused its discretion in excluding the testimony of Drs. Pour and King. This exclusion of evidence was prejudicial error. The district court did not abuse its discretion in refusing to allow joinder of the claims of the Mondelli family.

Washington Post Reports on Beginning of University Impeachment Trial

At this point in time, the Nebraska legislature (Attorney David Domina representing) impeached David Hergert, a University of Nebraska regent, for rigging his 2004 campaign. If at least five out of seven Nebraska Supreme Court judges find Hergert guilty, then he will be officially removed from office, reported The Washington Post.

According to David Domina, Hergert "committed a series of acts designed to cover up his manipulation of the election."

The Washington Post Article describes this impeachment trial as "unusual," stating that it is the first impeachment trial in the state of Nebraska since 1984 when Attorney General Paul Douglas was removed from office.
